Hi all, i just bought a "black damsel fish" from my local TAT. i have never seen one or ever heard of one befor. they were in a large group w/ some other larger predator fish. they were all about 4-5". i checked the price. 1$!!!!!!! no i did not make a mistake. they were all priced 1 buck. i said where did you get them, and all kinds of ?’s.... they seemed ok so i got one. i named it fishy. since them i have racked the internet for any info on a :black damsel fish" he looks nothing like anything i have every seen. i have him in my 40breeder w/ a sm yellow tailed damsel and a tomato/ciniman clown. along with a pepermint shrimp, and a blood shimp. The black damsel look sort of like a black and white chromis, but way too big and he has no white. i mean this thing is big. and not unlike angel fish..... any thoughts? ive been feeding him flakes (which he loves) shrimp, mysis, brine, plankton, fresh shrimp, clam, and dried blood worms. along w/ nori and blanched lettuce. he is so pretty! ll try to get a pic.

Link I hope these guys can help you out. You might want to check thier care sheets too. They got alot of info on diffrent animals. The names of the animals on the side are care sheets.
