 New Comet Goldfish

Yesterday I bought 2 Comet goldfish, feeders I think but smaller than the big feeders. I just wanted to know how big they get, they are about 1 inch 1/2 right now but I think they must be babies. A few tips on them would be nice thanks!:D

Most goldfish grow to about 6 inches... but then again most fish grow pretty big... if they get to big you can buy another tank or give them away... Don’t worry about tremendous growth right now... it takes a couple years i think

Comet goldfish get to be very big. I have four comet goldfish, two fancy comets and two common comets. The two fancy comets were about 3 inches when I got them and now they are at about 12 inches a piece. The two common comets that I bought for about 10 cents were around 1 inch in size are at about 4 inches now. The 12 inchers took 3 years to get that way the little guys took a year.

Keeping the water clean is important. Make sure you keep up with your water changes. Also feed them goldfish pellets.

it took my 12 cent comet 2 months to go from 3 inches to 6.. in a year, heas now a foot and a half long, and has moved out to my pond.. i also have a 2 year old comet feeder that is about a foot and a half,, also in teh pond.. they grow faster than my koi, and for the price, they come in just as many color patterns.. i have white comets that look great in the dark water
