Help!! I am quite an experienced beardie keeper but have recently purchased a female frilled dragon. She is about three months old. She was extremely active in the shop but since i have taken her home she has been quite timid and not very active. I was just wondering if any of you guys noticed this while acclimatising your frilly’s to their new homes. She has been checked for parasites and the setup is correct so i’m baffled! By the way i’m new here so hi eveyone. :)

Help!! well mine when i first got her was very calm and even friendly towards handling and contact, then after a few months she totally changed her mood or something and is quite the opposite lol. so there probably is anything wrong with her its just her. im mean sometimes i see mine just laying there for a long time a think maybe somethings wrong cause she dosent look the same but then the next day or later her heads arched high running around all bright colored, and is always eating. what size is the cage?

Help!! Its 2ft wide, 2ft deep and 3 1/2 ft tall, she looks miniscule in it its really funny! Actually since i posted that message her behavior has improved dramatically, shes eating loads , pooping loads and jumps around the viv non stop. she spends quite a lot of time in her water dish, is this normal?? thanks for the reply by the way, much appreciated!!

Help!! some reptiles will soak a lot of the time if temperatures are wrong, you sure yours are ok? if they are then mites are a possibility look it up on the net so u can identify that possibility, but some lizards will bathe regularly so dont be 2 worried if you have checked these factors mine is almost never in his water bowl i only find out he has been when he’s used it as a toilet and thats not very often
