And about the cage... I’m going through the same dillema, I’m building one this summer (4’Lx4’Tx3’W) And I’m trying to decide between screen, 1/4" plastic, plexiglass and wood. I’m still not sure, but I do agree with the temps and humidity being harder to control in a screen cage. good luck |

my frilled will tolerate handling at times but its taken 6 months to get him this way and he still tends to get grumpy more often than not. But they are handalable not too big a fan of being picked up and carried around though more of a sit on your shoulder or have a run around ure room looking for edible objects kinda lizard but like i said some have them as tame as hell. My current set up i have no photos of but this is when i had just set it up for him its become a lot more elaborate since
this is the basic lay out i used at this time
this is the complete tank its the size of yours (4 foot high 3 long and 2 wide)
this is dill a few notes you may want to note: they need heat on the top and usually bottom of the tank theres an under tank heater covered by news paper under the wood chips in my tank and he uses it every morning for belly heat the uv should be 0.10 which is suited for desert reptiles. everything else can be provided by examining these photos |
