 Whats the best substrate for frillys

I was wondering what kind of substrate I should use for my frilled dragons. I have been using this coco-substrate stuff but the crickets lay there eggs in it and I think there is thousands of little crickets running around. There is some kind of bug in there. I want to change it but what should i use?

This may not be the best, but it surely will not produce mold and won’t allow un-eaten or wild bugs to make a home under it.

I use outdoor carpet that can get wet and will not mold. Easy to clean as you just take it out, wash it off and put it back in. It’s also soft :) Hope this helps.

actually mate the moisture can build up underneath but if you have a finished tank it wont make any difference.

i use this stuff



spot cleaning is loads easier for lazy people like myself

Moisture can build up underneath if the person is dumb enough to heavily spray the bottom of the tank, but who does that?

true lol i never sprayed my tank since humidity is usually correct you did get me for a second there i forgot that nobody usually sprays frilled lizard tanks
