 Frilled lizard is being wise-girl and won’t frill

She only frills when my mom is around. How can I make her frill? I brought her up to a mirror, Nope didn’t work. My dog came down, only for my mom. I am wondering if my Frilled Dragon, Cleo, is being naughty girl. I just got her too, she should do it a lot more right?

what the hell man u dont intentionally make her frill they do it when there stressed if you wanna stress ure lizard into frilling at u all the time out of fear then u dont deserve the lizard im sorry but its not a toy its a living creature and ure job as a keeper is to provide for it not scare the hell out of it so it performs a party trick

I am not intentianally I am asking why is he not frilling? Also, I am interested to see the frill. Can the frill open when she is basking?

well in simple answer a happy animal doesnt frill up so that should tell u about the condition and mood of your lizard they dont need to frill that often if they do its a bad thing
