ok well here it is a pic of my cage home made /I use fabric to cover all sides for two reasons /to sometimes totally isolate my lizard/and also to keep extra heat in!

now heres a baby boy frilled dragon! this is what a healthy young male aussie dragon should look like!My frilled dragon is a happy and healthy lizard /he,s not quite a yr old however he dwarfs most females dragons already!!he,s going to be huge!he eats at least 7 superworms a day or two earthworms /or several ckrickets/my frilled goes crazy for anything that has big wings/moths /butterflies/dragonflies/yellowjackets /it doesn,t seem to matter just so he gets a good shot at it!grasshoppers etc, etc, anyway here the latest!thanks Chip!!

well I,m glad that the two of you know so much about my lizard just from a pic/to be honest whether he,s a new guinea or an aussie really doesn’t matter since!my male was captive born in America so I guess I could call him an American frilled dragon!but if you must know /he’s a seventh generation aussie frilled/there has been however NG genes breed into him however; he’s mostly aussie ///sorry to burst your proffessional oppinion;however the facts point to breeding wich shows this. A. a large healthy mostly australian frilled! B.a happy and very loved pet!I guess I’m offeneded by the fact that you think you can tell me twice when in fact your wrong from the get go! so to conclude here is an "American frilled dragon!!!!!!!!!!!!!"and with that I think I ’m done with this forum/seems to be to many know it alls that really don’t know bozo!

Look at this baby! the pictures dont lie
well genetically the species of frilled dragon are different so however you wanna look at it it is not american they are 2 subspecies that taxonomy fails to notice.
if he has NG in him he cant be 7th gen aussie that makes no sense it would make him a hybrid
if he was predominantly australian he would look more like this

what you have IS a new guinea good that it is loved and is happy but you dont have an aussie whoever told you that is either mistaken or looking to make a quick buck

Look at this baby! wow! I feel really dumb!I was taught that ng’s are plain colored /and aussies are prodominant colored lizards :I researched that very concept and found out that in fact I,m the one with the wrong info!I appologize for my rudeness!and stand corrected on actual facts so! I did go back to my breeder !who when he sold me the lizard swore up and down it was an aussie.he did in fact tell me that most of his lizards were NGs he offered to return him at full price; however I think I’ll keep him!anyway sorry I was quick to be a jerk it’s just I trusted someone elses word !won’t make that mistake agin/anyway I,m here in wyoiming where there really isn’t much in the way of frilly education/so if you have any title of books or any good web sites I,m all ears! talk about a very humbling experience!nothing sucks worse than to go into something with the wrong info !so if nothing else thanks for setting me straight! chip[!
