Help with frillie care [S5] I have always been fasinated by frillies and doing research now. I already have Bearded dragons and others but was wondering are the two lizards alike. What are the temps, food, and caging.
Thanks in advance.

Help with frillie care [S5]
well to begin /frillies are a lot diffrent from beardies!frillies are shy /timid creatures that stress easily/they need and all around temp of no less than 75 degrees /and they need 100 degrees for basking spots/even though they are agamids they need good humidity/and occasional circulated air /(for example a small fan on low will do nicely for a breaze) and only for limited time of say about couple mins/)couple times a week)also it is good to have somekind of total isolation like a towel or blanket to cover cage/it just seems to give the frilly a chance to not feel stressed by outside events/:I cover mine when I leave the house or if frilly gets to acting like he’s shy or scared/food sorce can be anything that fits between eyes and that moves/mine loves superworms/and butterflies //goes hog wild for those butterflies!! I feed him around 7 worms a day/also crickets grasshoppers /etc,etc,caging!!! very important the bigger the cage /the bigger the frilly they can get up to 3 feet long just monsterous!just be sure the temp is regulated oh yeah and good lighting is important I say buy the best a full spectrum light is the closest thing to the actual sun!! well I hope that helps!! good luck to you Chip!

Help with frillie care [S5]
well I would say that yes all of them are shy creatures :however mine has become accustumed to handling/also we play hide seek and peek a boo alot!it,s fun/price range I ve seen 150/to 300depending on age size and if you have breeders or not!what I do with mine after handling most of the time I will seclud him by coveering his cage /it seems to help /and it gives my boy a chance to relax in his own manner /other than that he gets lots of attention! you can see my lizrd and set up in look at this baby post!hope that helps /I paid 200 hundred for my male he was small and about six months old/now he,s doubled in size and is a great pet and has become a good friend too believe it or not!thanks Chip!if your going to purchase a certain kind I would say the aussie frills are better looking and bigger in the long run /but that can be argued !any way hope that helps chip!

Help with frillie care [S5] Crocadile Dragon,
I do think there are exceptions, but I have a Bearded and a Frilled dragon both in the same enclosure they are both young (8 months old) and get along great. But I don’t see them living together much longer the Bearded dragon eats twice what the frilled eats and also eats a small bowl of greens a day the Frilled dragon wont eat any greens and will not be as aggressive at eating time so I usually will separate the two so I know that they are both eating. The Frilled dragon also needs much more climbing room and seems to always be more jumpy. The bearded dragon loves to be handled and will lay on my leg when I watch TV and either fall asleep or just enjoy your company where the frilled dragon will sit for awhile but will want to move. I do agree that the frilled needs more heat he spends more time closer to the heat lamp. I love both there personalities both are great pets but I do believe that since the Bearded seems to want to be handled more and doesn’t mind going for a ride to the pet store he seems to be more of a family member.
