Skittish Frilly  Hey I’ve had my frilly for about a month now, and every time I try to handle him he frills and hisses
Any suggestions?

Skittish Frilly  Mine is pretty skittish too. I have had him for about a month too. Anyhow, I find he is calmer if I hold him in the enclosure, and let him crawl up my arm when he is ready to come out. I have only successfully held him for 2 minutes out of the enclosure, but I’ll take it! hehe One thing he does like though, and i have had him there for an hour before, is to crawl into the hood of my sweatshirt and rest for a while. It’s warm and dark. He’ll even tolerate my hand petting him in there.

Skittish Frilly  give it time and dont try to rush him, i get my guys out and let them do what they want around the house like climbing curtains, he will get used to you but it may just take a while, iv found that they are at their tamest about 3 years old, one of mine follows me around the house hes about 3
