Eyes Sealing Shut Almost every day my frilled dragon’s eyes have been sealing shut and I have to pour water over them to open them up, has anyone ever had this problem?

Eyes Sealing Shut Sounds like an eye infection of some sort. If a vet is not possible i would try to soak the animal for about 15 min in hand temperature water and check to see if anything may be iritating the eyes from the cage. Look for any dust or very dry area’s it may spend time in. As well as using vitamin dust while feeding, a number of things can cause this problem so i would start with the cage aspect. If you take it to the vet, they may give you eye drops if its a bacterial infection or just talk to you about your husbandry and hopefully fix it from that end.

Eyes Sealing Shut I’ve read a few articles on the internet about problems with a specific type of lighting. There have been reports with people using power compact UVB lights (the coil kind) there lizards temporarily go blind and there eyes shut. This is just a thought. I If you are using coil compact UVB i would switch to the long tube UVB right away. just a thought.
