Yes, they are active (at least mine is). She runs around and tries to climb to the top of EVERYTHING (hence her name, Everest). As far as friendly, I think it depends on how much you socialize them when they’re young. Mine is friendly, enjoys being held and pet. She has come up to me and my fiance before to climb up and sit on our shoulders or in my hair. She sits with me at night, gets pet.

I’m not sure about the tropical thing, I wouldn’t call them "rain forest lizards" but they do need heat (our basking spot is about 100 degrees). They need humidity (ours is at 52% right now, the probe humidity / temp reader says max is 62%). We also give Evie a bath daily in the morning, and she has a water dish that we’ve seen her drink out of. She doesn’t like to be misted. She’s been on a diet of superworms for the last few months, we also feed her silkworms and hornworms. We’ve switched in the last 2 weeks to a hornworm staple, although it’s expensive. She eats one, maybe two huge (like 3 to 4 inch) worms a day. They have a lot of mosture, so they’re much better than the supers (and they’re soft bodied, so less of an impaction risk than the chitin of the supers).

I have to agree with the last reply///frillies usually go for around two hundred dollahs 9 out of ten purchases will be ng frillies/they eat like small pigs on a farm/they need lots of room and heat and believe or not they need attention just as much as they need solitude!oh yeah I think humidityand vitiman k are the most important part of a frillies life oh yeah and temps are important/be sure to study this reptile before buying/they are expensive little lizards but worth every penny! hope this helps Chip!
