The issue with younger frilleds is many people assume they will take this food size because they are so small. First thing i noticed when i started working with them is they didn’t like appropriate sized crickets for lizards their size, baffled i tried larger crickets...this is when they started to eat. At 6months old the 5 frilleds i have raised from that age have all eaten prewing crickets. Seems they just like larger food sizes. Most mistakes are harder to recover from when the animal is young and has less fat stores to live off of, often resulting in a simple issue that could of been corrected and allowing the animal to thrive.
