 New cage and Frilly pics!

Just moved her into her new cage yesterday now that we finally got rid of her mites for good! It’s a vast improvement from her last one. She has a 100W daylight, a 100W infrared nightlight, a UVB flourescent (good up to 2’ away) and a 40W ceramic heater near the bottom.
I live in an apartment complex that doesn’t allow animals, so, I had to make it look like an armoire with an outer set of wood doors and then an inner set of plexi-glass doors. The wood doors make her feel more secure and give her some privacy too.

You can see her in the top corner of all these pics!

And this is what the bottom looks like...

In case you wanted to see more pics of her... here are some from a few months ago:

One other question, back when she had mites real bad, she used to be real active, like, running laps around her cage much of the day (but we could still hold her and everything). Now that we got rid of them all, she’s very chill, tame and seems a lot more afraid in general. Every time we walk into the room she ducks her head down real low (and we can still hold her- she pretty much won’t move or hold on or anything though). It’s hard to say which set of behaviors are healthier, but, does anyone have any suggestions to make her less scared when she’s in her cage? I’m hoping once she’s more settled in to the new one she’ll have enough space and height to explore to be more comfortable with us.

That is just their nature. lie low and look like a stick, blend in. My guy does this when he is looking out his window and someone walks by

new cages can be scary for frillies/I say give it a little time /one of the reasons for running around the cage could be irritation from mites /they actually can drive your lizard crazy /so if your baby is chill now that might be a pretty good thing/and know that mine used to play peek a boo with me all the time but since has grown out of that. I really like the idea you used for your doors on your cage giving your lizard total issolation thats probably the best thing you can do for your lizard is to give him or her some time to itself!it looks and sounds like your doing a good job with the lighting and heating ,and I really like your set up!
