here is a few of my cages for adults cage by design it helps that i have 2 large room for my reptiles and the rooms stay warm during the day so i dont need alot of extra light for heat. Lights were off when i took this pic

Cool Cages! I’m about to start building a custom cage. It’s gonna be 3.5 feet tall, 3 feet wide and 2.5 feets deep... big enough for an adult? And do you think I should put my baby frilled right into the big cage? Or should I start him in a smaller cage?

id go a bit taller. remember they live in trees so they need height. i think 4 feet is minimum height for an adult

well there are a few things you can do. it depends on what kind of substrate you are using what kind of structure its going to be. i use thick vynil plastic on the bottom of mine coverd with outdoor carpet u can buy in a huge roll for 20$. the plastic type carpet. you can use substrate on top of that. or like what i do is i use plstic bins filled with substrate.

my nice enclosure really doesnt even have anything protecting the wood. i have no issue. but i also dont have much water to cause issue. OSB bored has wax coating that protects one side of it.

here’s franks cage...the pix are a little old...i have since put in a longer UVB light and covered the sides so i could keep better heat and humidity and i also added more plants

Size: 6’x3’x3’
Heat: 120 watt indoor flood light
UVB: reptisun 10.0
Temps: 95-108
Substrate: Bottom layer eco earth, middle layer, reptibark, top layer terrarium moss
