Could be looking for eggs to eat.......Do you know is your frill a male or female? If she’s a female she could be digging to lay her eggs...How old is your frill?

My female Aussie Water Dragon is always in the lay box digging and burrowing looking for eggs..my other female had just laid her eggs and I caught Skittles in there EATING the eggs...grrrrrrrrrrr

burrowing , are you sure the frill isnt just digging against the glass trying to get out? or actualy digging down in a random place.

what is your humidity. is it 45% or higher? close to 65 or 80%?

what substrate are you using?
how old is the frill and do you know the sex of your frill

low humidity could be one reason. gravid female could be another reason. hunger apparently is a new reason i just found out!!

sometimes they try to get out of their container. glass scratching and dig down in the process. or they just dig for the heck of it.
