 How do i give me frill a shower / bath?? Thanks

I want to give my frill a shower / bath. I read about all your guys bath times. It seems your guys like it.
Thanks alot for all the help you’ve given me and all the other Frill lovers.

well the first thing you need to conciser, since i dont know much about you or your frill.

is your frill eating well? does it show signs of stress? (hiding, not basking, head low. head not up and alert)

if your frill shows signs of stress i dont recommend bathing your frill unless its dehydrated and needing medical attention.

if your frill is out going. active, eating well then your frill is less likely to stress out badly.

bath:
fill your large kitchen sink, or bath tub with 1-2 inches of water, depending on how big your frill is the water should come up half way on its body if not just slightly more. it should not be so deep that the frill can get under the water to deep but it can be as deep as the frills body so it can duck under and swim!! yay!

the water needs to be body temp. 95-100 is good.warm to touch, not cool not hot.

you should never leave your frill unattended in the bath but you shouldnt be adding stress either by bothering him.

the shower, i dont recommend a shower but you can turn it on and put the frill in the tub same method but its less effective. its more so for chameleons and geckos that dont soak. but get sprayed/misted


feel free to have the water trickling into the bath. that way the water is moving and will trigger drinking on stubborn frills!!

LOL./ Right now it seems Sozin is not doing so well
He ate 2 crickets this morning. i tried feeding him more but he didnt want them. He once ate 17 crickets
in one siting. I was going to stop at 7 but he just kept looking up for more lol. Thank you for you help

well... frills very from day to day. i fed my frills alot of crickets. like more then 15 the other day. and the next day they didnt want to eat.

today they ate only a few crickets and grew uninterested.

you cant force your frill to eat. but you can offer food threw out the day and see if he’ll take it. try just hand feeding. if your frill freaks out and runs away try the next day. dont leave crickets in there over night EVER!!! at least not right now while your frill may be stressed.

keep the temp no lower then 85-90 degrees keep humidity up . and make sure your frill can access a basking area. dont interact with him much . dont stress him out further. he’ll be fine. because the weather is changing your frill maybe sensing that and slowing down ... :)
