Worried about my frill
i got a frill male he is about 10 months old this week i only fed him with Zophobus morio now usually my frill do his body wastes every day now this week (which i fed him only zophobus mario’s) he didnt do any budy waste! could it been they cause impaction? shud i worry? |

super worms are not good as daily feeders. they are really high in fat. and do risk impaction. i recommend getting your frill dragon in a soak. 95-100 degree water half way up its body and let him soak for 15 min then change out the water for warm water again and continue doing this untill you see him poop. usually soaking in water will encourage deification (pooping). you can also rub the tummy to feel for something wrong. typically you’ll feel the collen full of bowl movements (poops) and they should be pretty hard inside the stomach. use your best judgment |

ill try the warm bath and no he dosnt seem scared nor darker in colors good to know that super worms are not good as daily feeders |

:) the cooler weather is good for shipping silk worms too. they are expencive but yummy oh so yummy! also tomatoes/Goliath/tobacco worms (big bright green) are good feeders aswell mulberryfarms.com that is if you’d like to spoil ur lil guy!!! oh and make sure you have a large enough water dish in the enclosure. for swimming. they rather dedicate in water then soil i’ve noticed(just in case u didnt read up about that) |

here in Israel its not a problem to raise them we have good weather for them 8 months a year and dont wry i usually spoil him with mice every 2 weeks and hissers/crickets on daily feed and he have a large dish also :) btw im getting his new terrarium next week so ill decor it and will post photos and thank you so much for ur time and answers |

did you know silk worms are extremely high in protein? one of the highest protein % available. also silk worms have an enzyme in their body that helps the absorption of calcium! |
