 Do frill shed there frills?

For the past few days my frill’s frill has been a blueish gray. Do they shed their frill? Or is he just really stressed?

might make scene why your frill isnt eating much. sometimes their apatite goes away while they are shedding. do you have a pump style mister? you should mist your frill dragon if your humidity is low. that way it will help the frill shed its such thin delicate skin!!!

:)

50-60 is ok. personally i’ve let the humidity rest at 45% for a while, my frills spent more time in water so i know they are more comfortable at 50-60.

75% is great thats what i currently have going on since my enclosure has less ventilation and stores humidity better

high humidity daily isnt a good idea. mold and mildew can form. natts will be attracted too. i recommend to let the enclosure dry out on a weekly basis. as in dont mist dont add water for at least 2-3 days untill you see things are dried out a bit.

:) dont worry just let your frill do its thing and just provide the heat and humidity and food!!!!

if the vet gives you baytril , an oral antibiotic, expect your frill to stop eating for a few days or so.
just a heads up!!!

and make sure you write down novasan. its a light blue cream for topical antiseptic

and the chlor what ever. its blue liquid antiseptic that works for 24 hours topically both are extremely mild
