i like building my own enclosures, its easy to do.

you could go as big as 4x4x3, hight, length, depth, for a male. or smaller for a female

heat needs to be 80 at least, in the enclosure, and ambient temp being 85-90 with basking zone of 110 for larger enclosures. they will go in and out of this basking area as they wish. or not use it at all. but having it at 110 makes it easier to keep humidity up
they are high humidity reptiles. 65 is great with a peak of 85% durring the day. they dont do well if the humidity isnt high enough though. if your enclosure is to cool, it wont hold humidity well.

there is a very awesome write up on frill dragons located here

check that out!!!

a young frill can do good in a 20 gallon for a few weeks to a month. a larger frill needs at least 4 feet long 2 feet deep 2 feet tall (females) to the 4x4x2 i mentioned above.

Or you can go bigger and make your frill the happiest little guy ever, I went 4ftx4ftx5ft6in (LwH) and i just recently got a baby frill. I was a little weary at first putting him in his main enclosure being it so big and him so small but everything went great, he was eating, pooing, basking etc, And used every single inch of his enclosure. Also Was able to tong feed him withing like 3 days loves it, I didn’t force feed or anything he just went for it and ever since then he doesn’t get off the branches just follows the tongs hahah funny to watch too. (i also use particle substrate so that’s also a big reason for hand feeding as im scared of impaction)

cheers.

i wouldnt go over 4 foot tall. they do fall and 4 foot tall would be safe.

the bigger the enclosure the more WATTS you need to heat it. remember you dont want any part of the enclosure lower then about 80. 80 is cool i like 90. to cool and then they cant digest their food well. cant digest food they get really sick.

I have zero problems heating my enclosure and with the lights and substrate being
inside the enclosure there is about 4 ft of height climbing space I use 1 basking light and UVB bulb and gradient is 80 to 90 and some cooler spots, so therefore I think it’s an ideal size enclosure

Also, my frill has not fallen and you have the risk of babys juvies and adults falling so I feel he is fine plus the soft substrate landing IF he does happen to fall ( frills in the wild climb trees regardless of the
height) and I try to recreate the habitat as best as possible.
Cheers

The taller the better with frilleds. I’ve had my males in 6’ tall cages and never had a problem with them falling. They are easy to heat. If you do have a heating problem you could always put a small computer fan in there to blow the heat around. If your worried about them falling you can put 4 inches of cypress in the bottom of the cages to help absorb the impact.
