Need Help with Breeding I have one male and one female Aussie Frilled Dragons. They are young adults (1.5 to 2 years old) and both have a snout to vent length of 9-10 inches. Their total length is about 24-26 inches each. My male tries to mate with the female from time to time but she wants nothing to do with him. She runs away and very very scared! I usually use a 150Watt heating element that casues the hot side of the encloser to stay 90-95F during the day. Recently I put in a 100watt heating element, stopped misting them with water, cut down on food and gave them less water to drink--all of this for a period of 8 weeks. The lizards seemed to be less active, but didn’t drop too much weight. They were very thirsty when I gave them water though. After the 8 weeks were up, I put in the 150 Watt element which brought the temp up about 10 degrees F. I gave them all the water they wanted ( big dish ) and I mist them twice a day. I’m not seeing any signs of breeding taking place. Am I doing something wrong? Is there source for complete information on breeding these lizards? My goal is to breed them once so I can raise a few babies from eggs, and sell the others to RESPONSIBLE LIZARDS LOVERS. -Thanks, Dan
