How much do they eat? 
i have a water dragon and i am thinking of getting a frilled dragon. my wd eats very little, about 6-8 crickets a day. my friend has a bearded dragon that eats about 40 crickets a day! i have a feeling that the frill has an appetite like the beardies. am i right? the frill that i would be getting it is a baby, 4 mos. old. so how much would it eat at this age and as an adult? thanks

hi maybe i can help, i have only had my frillie for a month so am not an expert, when i got Neo i recon he was 2 months old ish and weighed only 9 grams and in a morning he ate 3 to 4 small crickets and the same in the evening. now he weighs 16 grams and can eat up to 7 small crickets morning and evening. he was a little thin when i got him so
every now and again i would offer meal worms or a wax worm,he soon got to looking healthy so i only offer the worms as a treat now. just showed me that the worms are just full of fat.

Well, Frillies do have an appetite like the beardies, but usually will only eat small amounts at a time, so you do have to feed them at least 3 times a day, and no later than 2 hours before lights out so they can properly digest. And never feed them after midnight or they turn into gremlins. Just kidding. Some Frillies do have different appetites than others however. For example, my girl just ate 2 pinkies in a row and I thought she would be done for at least a few days. Nope, later that day she was on the floor of the cage zapping all the crickets running around. I let them eat pretty much as much as they want in a 10 min sitting since they are still rather young - not even a year old.

larry used to eat 6 crickets when he was younger. he is currently 1year and 2 months old. you could also try lobster roches which are as nutritious as 3 crickets. larry loves lobster roaches.
