 Pacman wont eat!!!

My pacman hasn’t eatin any waxworms or crickets for the past week, he useally eats everything! He is starting to get skinny and i’m worried! Also, all these little silver parasites are back, i changed the bedding a few weeks ago and there back again! What can i do???? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How long have you had him?

The only way to rid the parasites is to change the substrate and buy new.... Are you sure they aren’t baby crickets? Cook any earth type substrate for 30 min on 250f....its kills any eggs of insects.

Also is there some heat source for your pacman? I know the stores say you don’t need.. But they do like around 75f... so need some heat. It helps digestion....

Have you only been feeding him crickets? worms ect can cause impaction if fed too many. Is there any poop? If there is it means he has had food recently...

He might be going through a hibernation period right now. In which case he wont eat much for a while and he will get a hard outter shell like skin. He also could have eatten some of his substrate and he could have a blockage in which case id take him to the vet and they will give him an enima. If the parasties dont go away after changing it and sanatizing it id take id take him to the vet to be checked if they have caused damage to him. Wax worms are straight fat so its good to feed him those if your trying to fatten him up. If he is hibernating he should be eatting with in a couple of weeks...or so.
