 A mirror?!? ....

i was wondering if i put a mirror in with my ACF, if he would not feel so lonely anymore.....

he is always singing, constantly! i think he needs a buddy, but cant have anymore

Here’s my experience: since we are short in room, I put their 20 gallon tank on my desk right in front of the built in mirror. Now at this time I didn’t have a background for them. They would see themselves in the mirror and go crazy. Usually it was BamBam who saw himself, would go off all over the tank and then freak out Pebbles who would also go crazy. Once I put the backing on they settled a little but not much. I then added lots of plants (real and fake) and they have settled considerably. Get him a friend they are supposedly social with each other. I know mine are because they do the mating dance at night.

i cant have anymore, though. thats why i thought if i put a mirror in....

then i thought of my betta that i did that with (oops!). lol he went nuts and started puffing at the mirror...ready to fight!

Too bad. Try the mirror if worse comes to worse you can always remove it.

frogs dont need friends. their brains are too small to understand the meaning.

no one to compete with for space or food = a healthy, happy frog.

let him be and dont stress him out.
