 My spagnum moss is turning green??

i have a pixie in a 10 gallon tank with moss and a bowl but my spagnum moss is turning green should i remove the green spagnum moss or leave it until the next time the tank is due for a substrate change??

If you see white or blue or if you smell anything musty, then get rid of it. Most types of green are good though.

Is the Spagnum Moss in the Water? I have thinking if it was green couldn’t there be algae growing on it to make it turn green?

no its not in he water but i mist the tank two or more times a day and its seems more green under the lamp almost like the moss is coming to life a again im gona try to get some pics

Maybe it wasn’t dried very long and some of the spores were still good.

There’s nothing harmful about the live stuff. It wouldn’t even be growing if it didn’t have food, so it’s serving a purpose, actually. Where there’s live moss, you’re less likely to get mold.
You’ve still got to clean out the stuff underneath, or it’ll end up toxic from the frog’s wastes, but you can try to save the living stuff if you like it.
