Pacman frog I’ve posted a few times about my pacman frog not eating.I know he and other pacmans periodically do this due to shedding etc. Now he is doing it again usually it last only about 3 days but this has gone on about a week a little less. Before this he had a wax worm for the first time.Could this be stopping him from eating (I doubt but thought i would ask anyways). He looks a little bit thinner.I want to wait a little longer before i decide to force feed him because the stress of it. Typically how long can pacman frogs go without food? His tank is around 80% humidity, around 85 degrees and drops down to around 75 at night. I have a UTH on one side, treated water and a 25watt. heat bulb that i only use when needed. The substrate is Eco earth and moss to keep the humidity up. how long i should wait to force feed him?If i should at all?I know it is stressful on the animal.Thank you guys and sorry for the questions

Pacman frog Also, how old is he again? Two months for an adult is less of a big deal than two weeks is for a baby. Still not good, but most will do it a few times.
Although, actually.... if he’s losing weight, I would actually say go ahead and try force-feeding when you’ve got a second person handy to make it as quick and easy as possible. If one person holds him the other’s hands are free to push something strong and nonabrasive such as a round-tipped, non-serrated butter knife against his mouth and then pop a meal right into it. Then as soon as he bites it, put him right back in and walk away. He’ll almost defintiely swallow it. I’d use something high-calorie like a pinkie (no fur or shell, lots of protein and fat) to make it worth his trouble.
Anorexia is a symptom of something else, but at least that’ll keep him nourished while you try to figure out what’s bothering him.

Pacman frog He has sense eaten a few crickets. He hasn’t lost that much weight but, this morning when i was spot cleaning.I saw what appears to be mites in his duty.Their small white bugs(tiny).I have jurassi mite spray for reptiles but, i have not seen any for amphibians so,I was wondering what can i do to get rid of them, why they could possibly be there and the damage they would do to him.I did some research but didnt come with many results. So,I’m wondering will he be okay. how can i get rid of them.Thankyou.Could this possibly be the reason he isnt/wasnt eating.sorry for all the questions
