 ADF...need info

ok, i know they are different from the ACF, but in what ways? i just got 2 given to me. put them in with the fish(i only have a few small skirts and some scissortails)....they are soooo tiny! one is smaller than the other. im assuming they eat the frog bites...

my ACF is is his own tank.

They basically have the same care, the size is the only real difference. Other than that are just some physical differences, like ADFs have webbing in the hands, not just the feet, and their bodies tend to look thinner with wider heads, whereas ACFs get wider towards the back.
They should be fine with the fish, just make sure the fish don’t eat all the food before it’s able to sink down to the bottom for the frogs, that’s the only concern I would have.

just an update on my little froggy...

he is doing good. eating good i think. its hard to tell how much he eats cause all the food i drop over him, goes everywhere, but next to him lol....anyways, i have seen him eat so thats good. the other fish dont even know hes there, i dont think...the only thing is...hes always hiding! and sometimes i don know where...so, will he eventually find the pellets i drop? or do they disolve quick? i am feeding him HBH frog bites.

now, is there anything else i can feed him besides the bites?

also, i did have 2 froggies at first, but havnt seen the smaller one (searched the whole tank!) for a long time. will he eat his friend? or do they hibernate.....or disolve or something???

thanks...

amphibians will eat anything that can fit in their mouth so if the other frog was small enough then anything is possible

they are also expert escape artists..

if there was a tiny hole/opening near the top of the tank and the water level was high... i would check around the tank.. they tend to stick near the edges of the walls when they hop out of their enclosures...

:)

na, i think he ate the little one. he was so little that when i bought just one frog, he went unnoticed by the guy at the shop. and the other is thriving and getting huge! not so shy anymore, though cant seem to get him to sit still long enough to get a good pic :( ill keep trying though...
