How to build a frog trap

There are tons of frogs in the field near my house and that field is due for construction. I want to make a trap with affordable materials so i can catch the frogs alive to relocate them.
Thanks for all the help.

You do realize that they will relocate themselves, right? All animals relocate when need to however, some do lose their lives in the process. I do commend you for wanting to save all of them but don’t get too upset if you cannot complete your plans.

If you have a pond nearby, you throw in a minnow trap and save some of the babies to relocate them. If the construction is for a house, the people may want to build a pond. Then make sure they didn’t put any goldfish in it and you can release them there. I’m sorry if it isn’t helpful but you can try it.

Good job with the tadpoles! As for the frogs, they’ll find somewhere whether it’s a small pond, stream, or migrate from puddle to puddle until they find somewhere they like. Once winter hits, they’ll be hibernating in any warm place they can find.
