I dont know if my frogs cage is good enough and do i need that temperature thingy one of my frogs lived in there without 1 for 2 years.. and i no wen tthe male does his call he wants to mate right well once it comes to that step what next?[Image]

What type of frog? Not always will they mate just because they are croaking.
Most frogs need a rain chamber to mate. There are several steps to take to get them to breed.
It can get pretty expensive also, you have to remove the eggs and put them in their own tank. If all goes well you will be spending alot of money on crickets to feed several 100 tads.

Sounds like you need to do research before temping this.

Do you even know if you have a male and female? Fbts are one of the easiest to get to breed, but if you don’t have a pet shop or some where to unload alot of babies, i wouldn’t try to make them breed.
Maybe you should goggle...breeding fire bellied toads and read up on it first.

There is no reason to breed them. I have 10, mixed boy and girl, and none of them have bred. In order to get them to breed, conditions need to be perfect and even then it is not as easy as people claim.

Also, no reason to use caps. Lots of people come here claiming they know male from female and then find out they are wrong.

That is why I stoped posting back to this person.

It was obvious that this person did not do research before getting the frogs and I was trying to help.
But, now it is time for them to do their own research.
There is no reason for anyone to be rude, especially if they have not done any research on their own.

umm actually I AM POSITIVE my r bois and girl the breeder person animal keeper bredder forg person i got it from told me! So I know I HAVE HAD Y FROGS FOR 2 YEARS and i know alot about them just because i dont know a bout breeding dosent mean i dont know anything about my frogs THATS WHY I STOPPED USING THIS WEBSITE 2 years ago becuase people always make RUDE COMMENTS! Now you have had your frogs for 2 yrs, when before you only had one for 2 yrs.
