2 Golden Tree Frogs - one looks kind of skinny - should I be worried?
Anyhow, two weeks ago we went to a local pet store and purchased 2 Golden Tree Frogs. The two we picked looked pretty healthy. I haven’t read very much about them, but I did read I was supposed to feed them at night, so I’ve stuck about 8 crickets in there for both of them. Gary - the smaller of the two, seems a little skinny to me. Velociraptor - who is much larger, looks healthy and like he/she has a little meat on their bones. Am I feeding them correctly? Do they need to have crickets every night? What about meal worms? And, I hope this question doesn’t sound dumb, but I am curious - can they see in the dark? I want to know how they can see the crickets. Thanks |

I have mine under a UV light. I wouldn’t do mealworms and would just stick with crickets. I don’t know how they do it either, but I can hear them jumping to eat crickets at night. |
