HELP Pacman Wont eat I have had my pacman frog for about 3 weeks now and he will not eat. I said in a recent forum that the crickets have been disapearing. Well they have just been hiding under the water dish. Well i fixed that but he still doesnt eat. I think he is eating 1 cricket a day maybe. I know that is not right. He is about 2 inches long or so and looks healthy. I put an small green anole in the tank with him to try and intice him in to eating a substantial meal but no the anole just live in there now. I upped the temp to 82 from 76 but still no change. Please help.

HELP Pacman Wont eat First get rid of the anole. Get some minnows and feed them he should try to eat it. Then switch him to a staple of earthworms you can buy these at walmart. Also keep the temp about 80. Post some pics

HELP Pacman Wont eat I have tried putting small goldfish in front of him with feeder tongs. But no go. ill put a earthworm in front of him and he wont eat it. I have gotten him to eat it when picking him up and pressing the fish or worm to his mouth then he opens his mouth and i let him bit down on it. Then he will eat it but only if I pick him up. This is not right he should eat it if i put it in front of him. I was thinking it would be the 5.5 gal. tank i have him in. Should i put him in a 10 gal or does it matter.

HELP Pacman Wont eat Dont feed crickets either the shell is to hard and they can lay eggs in the soil making it smell. Try some live pinkie mice he should eat those to.

HELP Pacman Wont eat Its not entirely uncommon for a pacman to go without eating for a month or more just keep offering food and eventually he will take it

HELP Pacman Wont eat Since frogs are ectothermic (cold-blooded) they can last up to a month (some snakes can last months) without food because they don’t waste calories on homeostasis like we do. Luckily we are not like them, or we would be quite fat.

HELP Pacman Wont eat Go to the store and get some rosie red minnows. Put the minnows right in front of him and if the minnow is jumping around he should eat it. If there are dots behind the eyes its an ornate.

HELP Pacman Wont eat
i make sure that my albino pacman Beau’sephus eats at least 2-3 times a week. frogs eat food they see moving, so i do the same thing that someone else mentioned on here, i buy 3 goldfish every week, while there is no water in his container i will drop all of them in, while they are all flopping around catching his attention, he picks one and eats it. sometimes i have to turn him around and adjust him, but it works for me everytime. i dont worry about him eating again til i see that he has pooped, then i go through the process again.
