Probably either a blue or albino bullfrog. Albino’s aren’t very expensive, blues can go for $200 and up depending on age, sex, and size.

Most expensive frogs I’ve kept in the past were my collection of darts and waxy frogs. None of them would cost much more than $150 a piece, most were more around $30-50 at breeder cost, in a petstore you can triple the price so take that as you may. They recently developed albino firebellied toads that are still fairly expensive. There are a lot of very rare dart frogs though that will run you into the thousands of dollars to get your hands on.

Most expensive animals I had were geckos, beardies, and ball pythons (1 snake $6,000)

i’ve always wondered....how do color morphs come to be? does it have something to do with selective breeding, or is it in the animals diet?

Some qualities are line bred. Others are recessive genes, co-dom genes, or a mixture of different recessive traits and/or co-dom traits. Look up Gregor Mendel and punnett squares.
