Pacman Frog Could I keep one in a 10 gallon plastic tank? Do they need a lid on the tank? I ask because they look to heavy to be able to jump very high, and without a lid it would make it much easier to keep live plants in the tank. Is there any other amphibian I could keep in a tank of that size?

Pacman Frog Considering Pac Man frogs can get 8 inches across I would not keep them in a 10 gallon. Even though they don’t move a lot I personally think it’s too small. They can’t climb or jump very well though. Just keep in mind they get huge.

Pacman Frog I’m leary of trying to heat plastic tanks that are that small. 10 gallons is alright for a pacman, but I would use a glass tank. Aside from that a hermit crab or a beetle could fit in that size enclosure. 10 gals are small though. Not a lot of adult species I’d recomend for it.

Pacman Frog Pacmans do not get 8 inches...that’s total bull.
Pacman males get like 3-5, females get like 5-6.
8 inches is HUGE. The largest I’ve ever seen is a whopping seven.
They’re fine in a ten gal, they really don’t do anything.
