are you talking about an American bull frog? the American bull frog needs a half land and half water tank . They are good swimmers. I use gravel with it built up on one end. they will eat crickets and mice. If you feed mice feed once a week. I catch them at night. I use a flash light to blind them and they are easy to catch that way.

 BULL FROG info?????????

An adult needs a least a 40gallon breeder tank. However a lot of people will agree that this is too small. Adult American bull frogs can jump several feet at a time, they have power ful legs, grow to large sizes, and are very active. House one in a cage too small and they can bash their brains out. People I know taking care of these frogs correctly are building 100+ gallon enclosures. They enjoy a heavily aquatic setup with good filtration to keep the water clean. A 1/4 land 3/4 water setup is good for an adult. This is really an advanced and expensive species to provide the correct care for. The african bullfrogs availble for 19.99$ and up are much less active with smaller legs and shorter jumps. An adult african will bulkier than an american, but require much less space, an adult can live in a 10-20 gallon tank.
