How often should you feed mice to your packman frog? how often do i feed my pacman frog mice? i heard if you start feeding mice to your pacman frog, it will make them grow bigger. so yesterday i gave my pacman its first mouse, and i wiggled it in front of his face, and grabbed it right away and ate it. I was so stoked that he actually ate it, because i have always had bad luck with animals that dont eat very well. my frog is 3 or 3 and a half inches long. now that i have started feeding him mice so that he will grow, how afton should i feed them mice? once a week? i want my frog to get huge.
one more thing, do all species of pacman frogs get the same size?

I don’t keep those because they get too big and mean, but I understand that feeding an excess amount of pinkies has been implicated in corneal lipid deposits in large frogs, which can lead to blindness. So my advice would be to go easy on them and feed your frog mainly insects and earthworms (nightcrawlers but not red wigglers, which can be toxic).

How often should you feed mice to your packman frog? They might get bigger faster, but high rodent diets cut the average life span by as much as 50% in some cases. Kidney failure, blindess, water retention, lots of issues come with over feeding rodents. Like any creature, the healthiest diet you can provide is the best. Mice should be a rarity, once every 2 months is probably safe. You’d be better off finding some monster bugs for it, large earthworms, giant roaches etc. A lot of the more famouse huge pacmans died recently and all signs point to improper diet. Mix it up. Your pacman will get big enough without feeding him excessive high fat diets.

How often should you feed mice to your packman frog? If you can find a good deal on large enough guppies, they’re probably your healthiest commercially-available vertebrate prey item for horned frogs. Goldfish are fattier, carry a lot of diseases, have too much Vitamin A, and have a chemical in them which blocks Vitamin B. More about that in a minute.
You might end up using rosy red minnows, sold as feeders in many aquarium shops. They, like goldfish, contain a lot of thiaminese, the B-blocker I mentioned. However, if you freeze them and then reheat them until warm, it’s destroyed. It starts to break down well before 90 degrees Farenheit. That means you’ve got to hand-feed or tong-feed the frog, since the fish is now dead, but I consider hand-feeding. tomg-feeding to be fun, so it’s not really an issue.
