 DO FROGS LIKE TOADS????????

i have a unkown toad (possibly a red spotted toad)
i was wondering if there is any chance i can put a dumpy tree frof in with him??
or any other breed of frog?

mixing species=bad. Some people are succesfull but why take the risk. And if you are going to mix species I recommend sticking to species from the same enviroment and the same country.

Toad skin is poisonous, and frof skin is very absorbant, so simply climbing over the toad could be a very unpleasant and unhealthy experience for the frog.
Also, the dangers of pathogens travelling from one animaql to the other are more serious with amphibians... again, because of the very absorbant skins.
Toads don’t need much height, so if money is tight you can still rig up a nice home in a cheap plastic sweater box or something.

I would have said the other way around.
Got a full-grown female marinus, so I’m biased. Even a male Pyxie would think twice about a meal her size. She’s eaten leftover feeder mice (ironically, from my hognoses... but only occasionally, mammals are not nearly as good for anurans as many people think,) giant roaches (up to and including adult Blaberus fusca, which I actually used to raise just for her before deciding that the slightly smaller Eublaberus prosicus were less trouble,) full-grown hornworms (two at a time; she absolutely loves them) and even entire frozen/thawed smelt.
I don’t think many frogs would even last long enough to to SUGGEST waiting until the mustard jar was open, unless maybe they seduced her by singing about rainbows or something... you know how them frogs is.

my toad and frog live with one and another and its fine but just remember each is diffrent and i was lucky my big frog doesnt want to eat him plush toads let out a bad tast do some work on it and u will see
