Bought my first ADF and both died within 10 days. I think temp of water was an issue. I also turned off the filter/bubbles when i left work (tank on desk). I’m guessing that is why my first one died. That one was dead friday morning when i came into work. My other one died 3 days later on monday. He was sitting at the bottom like normal but had a "bubble" covering his head. What is that? Any advice? I’m so bummed!! I did buy my daughter the same tank but she bought her ADF in another city & they are well. When I think back the petstore had dirty tanks & I was suprised but just dismissed it. So any advice, suggestions.....I don’t want to fail at this. Thx

ADF died with bubble on face
Aquatic amphibians can be delicate, never buy them if you see them housed in dirty conditions... I once lost some firebelly newts that I purchased, where the same problem seemed to be happening at the store. Under those types of conditions, the animal could already be sick when you take it home.
