New here-have a few Whites questions!

Hi there. First off I want to offer a little history on our whites tree frog. She was given to me about 2 years ago by someone who didn’t want her anymore. She came with everything she owned. A horizontal tank, a water bowl, a few crickets, a spray bottle and some fake grass carpet stuff. Yep. That’s it. She managed to live like this for 2 years. We did some research and spent over $200 on our ’free’ frog to get her tank in better order. Including a vertical terrarium, coconut fiber dirt, frog moss, a waterfall, a few branches, under tank heating pads, large perching rocks and a lamp. Though I now understand I need a fluorescent bulb vs. my lamp... Anyway we are STILL learning here two years later.

Question 1: We want to take her to the vet about cloudy eyes and a small black bump on her front leg. What is the best way to transport her? the office is over 30 min away.
Question 2: It doesn’t seem to matter how much I mist my tank even with the water fall, moss and under tank heaters I can’t seem to get the humidity dial to read over 30% I know it must be higher than that, it stays pretty damp in there but I have been through two different dials... do I need a digital one instead?
Question 3: she stays thinner than I would like. I have been hand feeding her so I know what she is taking in. She gets 8 large dusted crickets and a few wax worms a week. She may hunt others but with her eyes being cloudy I don’t know how that is going... Should I hand feed her more? (I will also be mentioning this to the vet)
Question 4: What are the most common beginner mistakes so I can see what else we may need to correct.

I am still amazed this frog has lived this long under such stressful and incorrect conditions. I am learning something we are doing wrong all the time! I know she is better with us than she was with the previous owners but I still feel like we could do better. Thank you so much for your time!! Please go easy on me! We are trying really hard to get this right!

ok
1. a get some moss out of her tank and put it in a contaner ( WITH HOLES ) and she should be fine.

2. try a different gauge and i would HIGHLY reccomend getting a repti fogger and or a mosoon mister both are AMAZING machines i have they for my chameleons and they keep humidity right where i want it really look thoughs up. i promis you that you will not be dissapointed in these machines.

3. i would ask the vet what to do about that but i would keep feeding her.

4 It sounds like you are getting everything done that needs to be done :-) you are doing amazing job it sounds like.
