African Clawed Frogs, A few questions..... Hi, I’m new here and am the recent mother of a ACF tadpole. I have my ACF in a smaller tank while he’s a tadpole and am moving him into a 10g tank when he turns into a froglet.
Right now, i have a tank and a screen top for him along with sand for the bottom of the tank. my questions are a- should i get a lighted top? i’ve heard conflicting comments on this, and i want to be sure. b-Is it ok to put sand w/ large rocks on top at the bottom of the tank? and c-Filter/No Filter? I’ve heard comflicting things on this also, and was wondering what your thoughts were. someone mentioned the "Whisper" filter because it is quiet, but i’ve heard so many different things, i really need just a point blank answer...
any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

African Clawed Frogs, A few questions..... We have two ACF’s, and I can’t imagine them NOT having a filter! I’d be changing their water every other day.

African Clawed Frogs, A few questions..... We have two. They are both female, and both about the same age. If anything, Agent 2-0-4 (she belongs to our 7yo, don’t ask!) is younger than Grabbie. But Agent is a complete PIG about food, and is already well over double Grabbie’s size. Originally, we had Grabbie and Buddy. We bought them both as ACF froglets, but it turns out Buddy was an ADF, and Grabbie ate him, once she got big enough that he fit in her mouth. :-( Then we got Agent. They get on well, and Grabbie eats, but not near what Agent does. We feed them rosies, bloodworms, floating turtle sticks (neither one seems thrilled with the kind of frog food that sinks, they’d rather take food from the surface) crickets, and silkworms. Agent will actually take food from our hands.
