 What kind of frog is this?

Can someone identify this frog and tell me if it is suitable for captivity? I foud it in my garage and my daughter loves it. Thanx.

PS. He sound like a little squeeck toy when you touch him.

great news this frog is called a lepard frog and it is suitable for captivity. I’m sure your daughter will have lots of fun playing with this frog. The squeaking was just because it was scared. be sure to feed it crickets, small worms and wax worms. have fun, Bye!!

You can’t play with a frog. Especially a child, she’ll hurt it. Frogs are like fish. Beautiful to look at, but must STAY in their moist environment. Mkay.
