 Need help... now.

I’m three days from buying a frog and my terrarium moss is growing white stringy stuff, maybe it’s fungus, is it harmful or not. If it is i’ll just clean out the tank.

its probably mold...maybe try slightly lowering the humidity.

I occasionally get white suff growing on the substrate, usually when there isn’t enough air ventelation. Maybe air the tank a little more?

As for harmful, I don’t know. Maybe someone else does? *hint hint*

I took care of ventilation and humidity, but now i found out it has artaficial coloring, is that a problem, some of it is on the side of the waterbowl, but it already dried.

i personally think it is best to use only moss with no color additives. The color enhancers could have a negative impact on your amphibians because their skin is so delicate and permeable.

im pretty new to this but from what i hear, moss is really bad for pacmans. i dont know about other frogs but if a pacman accidently swallows moss, it cant digest it. get bed-a-beast or the coconut husk stuff, it should be around 4 or 5 dollars for a brick that expands to be twice as much as you’ll ever need lol

not all moss is bad...some is some isnt...use eco earth though...same thing as bed a beast but cheaper.

cant afford what? eco earth? it like 6 bucks for 3 bricks...not too expensive but if you cant afford it go to walmart and buy a bag of top soil...with nothing added of course. that costs 98 cents i think.
