Anyone in NY-NJ looking for..... 
hey, im trting to find homes for my frogs, its become a huge hassel with the whole cricket thing, i have 9 frogs, 2 pickeral, 4 unknown, 2 green, and a bull frog..i will be willing to just give them to anyone whos in NY or NJ, but you must pick them up...i really dont want to, but the crickets i buy them by the 2,000’s are atracting friut flies and they alreadt took over my basement...i love the frogs, so anyone who can give them a good home contact me at my e-mail-horrormovie man @ aol.com, take the spaces out...or just leave a reply here..

Hmm. I would, but I’m getting rid of my frogs too because I hate crickets. Try posting on Craigslist.com and charge a small adoption fee. There are too many sickos who adopt free animals to sell to animal labs.

oh cool..thanks..yeah, i didnt want to put a price on them cause i have read some arguements on this about how if you love the animals you wouldnt put a price on them...but ill probably put a very small adoption fee on them like $5.00 or something..probably lower...and its not that i hate crickets, but they just attracted fruit flies, ALOT OF THEM!-and they have taken over my basement..and i was feeding my BP today, and i saw them crawling on the mouse..andi said thats the last straw..so my crickets are going..i will probably keep a couple of the frogs, and just but like 30 crickets a week..but we shall..

Craigslist is a good idea but even then a small fee wont phase people like that I would say an animal shelter but they wouldnt live long after a while euthenasia. I live in NY but im 13 I have a greenfrog(True frog unknown species). Post pics of your little buddies.

thanks everyone..umm..i dont have any pics right now except for 1...2 of the unknown are up, decided to keep two, but if you would like one of the two, that would be good too...i think its a bull frog(the smaller unknown one)-but here is a pic of one of the unknown ones up for adoption....the pic is blurry, but its the only pic i have for now.

The unknown appears to be a bullfrog...the picture was poor quality so it could be a few other species as well...green frog, pig frog, mink frog...it’s too hard to tell in that pic.

as for the house flies thing, i had that same problem. Instead of using fruit as food for your crickets, use koi fish flakes. I had to kill all the fruit flies for an entire week straight, now they are exterminated. Maybe you wont have to get rid of your frogs, but im just saying try switching what you have in your cricket keeper.

the lil damn flies have been gone for awhile, thats what cleaning and swatting do...lol...i cleaned my basement, got rid of all sitting water and i dont feed my crickets fruit or veggies anymore...they eat bird seed or dog food.....but i decided to keep a magority of my lil frogs..im keeping my green frog, bulllfrog, 2 unknown frogs....i will obviously keep the other 3 if no one wants them..but they will get as much love and care as the ones im keeping...but it looks like im keeping all of them anyway..they are just so darn cute...lmao....
