Tank? i have a dwarf clawed frog. is a 2 1/2 gallon tank w/ some fake plants, a hiding spot, and sand good for it? also, it is a male, and it croaks alot, i think it might b ready to mate bcuz along w/ that, i have a tadpole that is almost a froglet, it is a bullfrog tadpole, and today i put it in there to clean it’s tank, and the dwarf frog grabbed it into a mating position, so i took the tadpole from it and put it in something else. should i get a female frog for it, or is it fine alone? if there are tadpoles, i have a spare tank and food. also, will my tadpole b ok, i don’t think it is hurt

Tank? You could get a few more of them and just get a 5 gallon because they stay sooo tiny. I’m not sure how you could tell the sex of them besides the croaking. But don’t put the bullfrog tadpole with it! It will eat your clawed frog as soon as it can probably. I use to have albino African clawed frogs which get much bigger the the dwarfs...I have 2 in a 10 gallon and they had hundreds of tadpoles all the time :) Mostly after the monthly tank cleaning (had a filter on it). Maybe they thought they where somewhere new and had to repopulate ha ha :) (probably not who knows) Poor baby bullfrog got grabbed! :( He should be fine!

Tank? ic ok thanx, also, 1 of my tadpoles is nearly a frog, it just has to lose it’s tail, i made it a tank w/ some sand so it could climb out of the water, and then some water, like 3 inches deep so it could swim since it is still a tadpole, but my other tadpole only has legs, should i keep it separate from the near frog tadpole? cuz aren’t bullfrogs sometimes cannibalistic?

Tank? You might want to go ahead and prepare to separate them. One is growing at a different rate than the other, which is normal. The one losing it’s tail is obviously further along then the other and once it grows large enough to be off of the bites, it may see the smaller tad as lunch. Bullfrogs are opportunist and yes, cannibalistic.
