Do my tadpoles need stagnant water?

I just recieved two tadpoles that were bought at a Pet Store. So far ive kept them in the same water they came in. I intend to use Sprin water for their habitat. Do i need to let the water sit out overnight?
Not really sure, but i thing theyre leopard frogs.Theyre at the stage they dont seem to have gills anymore, hind legs are developing they gulp water, and go to surface for air.

Definately leave the new water out for a night, or they’ll die-If bottled water is the only thing available, then use that. Or, you can go to a lake or creek or river and get water from there. If their hind legs are developing, then you may want to buy a little paradise lake and fill that with some of the water youre going to use- just DO NOT use tap water. Just remember do NOT fill it to far or theyll die. Good luck :)
