I just heard the news that Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter died from a Stingray bite (barb pierced his heart) off the coast of Queensland............... I know for our family especially our daughters it was very sad news.......... 
His passion for wildlife has played a big roll in their short lives watching and learning from him on TV...... We had the great pleasure of visiting Australia Zoo and you will not see a better example of animal husbandry on this planet. The passion he had for animals and the care he took in providing everything they needed was amazing........... He has made a tremedous impact on our lives and how we look at animals and the conservation and care needed to protect them.............. So we just wanted to say............. ................It seems his life was too short.............But he lived it to the fullest...............He shared so much and taught so many people........... Our sympathy and prayers go out to him family................ We will sorely miss him............................ But never forget him  |

thats so bad, that makes my day bad now. i mean he had a daughter and a wife, that makes the pain even warse. i was wondering y the croc files hasnt been coming on.. well ill see you guys later =( |

He was off the coast of Port Douglas filming a new documentary and a stingray barb stabbed him in the chest. It seems it pierced his heart. They got him out of the water and took him to a nearby island be he was pronounced dead there. They could not resuscitate him.........
He had a wife, Terri American born, a daughter 8yo Bindi and a son Robert 4yo........... He has been in our house just about every day since our 8yo was 3...............They loved him so did my husband and I............... So very sad.................... |
