 Help quick

i found 6 garter snakes about 2 months ago and they all have eaten and never gave me problems. i usually feed them fish every other 2 or 3 days about 2 to 3 times every week and they always eat but one of my snakes (i think its female) has not eaten since the 14th of this month. is it because it is to cold? i do have a heat pad. is it trying to hibernate on me or something? im just worried about it, can some one help me.

Why did you keep them in the first place? I would let all but one go, as they might come from an unsteady population, and you might not have room for six. I don’t believe they are hibernating in Texas yet, seeing as how it is still 50-70 degrees there still, depending where you live.

 Help quick

i kept them because i wanted them i cant really explain why i kept them any other way. i have 3 babies and 3 adults. the babies in a 10 gallon and the adults in a 20 long tank(till i can afford a bigger tank). i have had them to long to let them go and i caught them 150 miles from where i live so taking them back now would be difficult. when i caught them i had no intentions on neglecting them in any way which is why i take the time to ask questions on this forum. it has been between 20 and 60 degrees in El paso Texas where i live. i don’t know anything as far as hibernating or breeding snakes yet. the snakes are all doing fine except the one adult snake. just please help i don’t want it dead...

Well, it depends on where you got her from. If it was north, in a colder place than it is there, she might be starting to hibernate because she’s used to the time of year. Also, I wouldn’t worry, as my male hasn’t eaten for about a month now, but I know he thinks its hibernation time. He will realize it isn’t and start eating again. Yours might be doing the same thing.
