 Can’t find small enough pinkies?!

Well, I’ve got Cameron’s garter snake cage set up now. We’ve been feeding him minnows and it’ll eat 4-5 every other day or so. I finally found a store in our town that sells pinkies, but after trying to eat it, Chum gave up(they are just too big) Is fish only until it grows a bit more ok. It seems really healthy and active. how fast will they grow? I’ve included the new cage pic and the one of it attempting to eat a pinkie.

Great cage, much more appealing with just a bit more green in it . It might just be the arms of the pinky, so try cutting them off to make it easier (my garters had trouble once too). Also, try scenting the pinky by rubbing a worm or minnow on it to make him more attracted to it, as they don’t eat pinkies in the wild.

you could try also getting
worm!!! i have never done it myself
but ive talked to people about it
and it works but don’t get him on a steady
diet of it ( not healthy)!!! nice cage and setup :)
like the other guy said more green!!!
