FISH Learn to spell...How about trying pinkies anyway? Does it matter when, which by then would make the snake ill?

FISH They can live their whole lives eating fish if you alternate with other kinds of food and if the fish you are using is a "safe" fish. I have a list of which fish contain thiaminase somewhere. I’ll try to find it for you.

FISH Your snake would eat them, the thing you ought to ask is should you. Wild prey have parasites. In the wild a garter would not have to stay in a small area with the parasites that his body would pass, there by reinfecting themselves over and over. So you really don’t want to feed him food that would only make that worse. A heavy load of parasites would eventually kill him. Nightcrawlers would work, Ill check on the bluegill. tadpoles shouldn’t be too bad but frogs would be heavy with parasites. If you could collect the tadpole eggs and hatch them yourself, keeping their water clean, you could feed them as soon as they hatch.
