Mine dont eat mice at all...

Use rosy reds and frogs.... that is their natural diet

I have one inch chirping frogs, cricket frogs, and leopard frogs which I breed

But its best to use mostly fish and also frogs.


Some of mine eat large worms

My garter wont touch a pinkie either, try worms, either dug up from the garden or big fat night crawlers from the bait store, he slurps them up like spaghetti! You can dust them in calcium powder every other feeding.

Mine eats pinkie rats, worms, my aquarium fish and mice. I stopped the chicken since it didnt look good coming out the other end. Of course my garter has to be a wandering garter snake. They will eat almost anything..... I never fed him frogs yet so I cant put that on the list.
