 Weird eating question!

I have an adult ball python and she eats frozen thawed rats and some times the end of the tail of the rat comes off. I saved 3 tails so far and I was wondering if i could scent a tail with a worm and my garder snake will eat it? Would the tail give any special vitamins or somthing healthy. Thanks!

the whole mouse...YES
mice are a healthier and cheaper alternitive to fish and worms
But yes To get it on mice I would scent it with fish or worms...

ps(garters typically dpnt seem to go for things that arent moving so I would use Live Pinky Mice

i tried that with a mouse tail because i thought maybe it would look like a worm,but no luck.
i don’t think i scented it though.
