 Is this to much

i feed my garter about a dozen fish a week and 1 female mouse every two weeks. is this too much to be feeding him he’s about 2 and 3/4 feet long. annd is there any other foods that i can feed him for a little more variety i only feed him live food cause i rescued him from the wild.

what kind of fish?

i don’t really monitor how much my garter eats. i guess i give my 1 ft garter around 5 tadpoles and 1 pinky mouse, or 6 minnows and 5 tadpoles, or 1 green frog and various minnows and tadpoles, or 5 minnows and 1 pinky mouse a week.
the only problems with not monitoring their food intake is overfeeding and getting them obese, or underfeeding, so i wouldn’t really reccomend this. i’m also not exactly sure how many food items they should be fed, but i’ve had garters and ribbons long enough to know what is about enough and when they’re full.
